Process

1. Once information is submitted via Reserve a Place link below, we will look at our schedule and either approve the requested start date or suggest an alternate start date. The same shall be communicated via email to the school.

2. Once start date is mutually agreed upon, we shall request the institution to make 20% of the total program cost as advance.

3. Following this we shall issue a voucher/invoice confirming your program schedule. Payment schedule is provided below:

  • 30% of the program cost shall be payable atleast 30 calendar days before the program start date
  • Remaining 50% of the program cost is payable at least 5 calendar days before the program start date

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. "Volunteers for Change" reserves the right to change the program start date at any time due to circumstances beyond its control such as natural calamity or any government order that affects the logistical elements of the program. In such cases, the revised dates shall be discussed with the concerned Institution and mutually agreed upon. Incase, the revised start date is not acceptable to the Institution, entire fee charged till that point shall be refunded minus $200 admin fee.

2. In case, the Institution requests for change of program start date, a change fee shall be payable as per below:

a) For change in program date requested atleast 15 calendar days before the scheduled original program start date - $100
b) For change in program date requested within 5 calendar days before the scheduled original program start date - $200

3. Incase, the Institution requests for cancellation of the program, entire fees paid till that date shall be refunded minus an admin fee which shall be payable as  below:

a) For cancellations atleast 15 calendar days before the scheduled original program start date - $200
b) For cancellations within 5 calendar days before the scheduled original program start date - $500
